We loved these pictures because of how authentic they are, because they are, as we said, daily life in its best version.

]]> Cami & Chalas https://www.valeriaduque.net/en/cami-chalas/ Fri, 15 Nov 2019 00:35:37 +0000 https://www.valeriaduque.net/?p=1031 Cami & Chalas’ wedding was filled with a bunch of favorite things: horses, dogs, family made decorations, a ceremony filled with symbolic actions, lots of love and a fantastic disposition of the bride and groom that wasn’t even deterred by the copious amount of rain we had to deal with.
Right in the middle of the couple pictures the sun came out and not even the mud in the hem of the gown, nor the cold were able to overshadow the happiness these 2 felt.

I’ve always believed that the places we live in are a reflection of ourselves. What we like, the colors that inspire us, the books we read, the furniture we choose.

So last year I decided to start shooting home sessions. A one hour experience photographing a couple at their home, just hanging out, drinking coffee, doing what they usually do. No pressure for time, guests, protocols. Just….pure…real…love.

This was the first that I shot, sorry it took so long to share it with you guys.
